  1. OnePlus has always been a brand which tried to be different by listening to the public and letting them make the choices instead of them making the choices which other companies did (Apple especially)

    1. They used to be like that, then they went ahead and removed the headphone jack even though majority of the users wanted it. So no, they are not the same company anymore who used to listen to its customers. Let’s see how things roll for one plus 7.

    2. +Tndo Note 9 has headphone jack and 4000 mAh battery and a whole S Pen Inside !!!. What can you have to say about that ?

  2. Every Like I will add a Fresh Apple.

  3. If One Plus ever increases their price for the OP 7 from their normal price range, it’ll completely ruin their image. Just wanted to say that

    1. +Tndo I completely agree. I love one plus as a company. Heck I own a 6T (normal). I just wanted to point out that there’s no such thing as a normal price rage because it’s increasing every year

    2. +Tndo
What you say makes absolutely no sense.

We have technology to MAKE things cheaper, not the other way around.

Building new chipsets HAVE NOT GROWN to be more expensive, we have been building chipsets for the past 30 years without giving them 1100$ price tags.

The price are purely overblown and Xiaomi proved that you can go as low as 300$ for an 845 chipset.

Also if you think that the 845 only does app loading times then why am I even discussing with you.

You think that just because a desktop processor only processes things, that means the 845 chipset does the same..

845 is processor + gpu + memory + sensors + data encryption + camera software + camera module.

That’s why Pocophone has a great camera for being such a low priced phone.

    1. This comment needs more likes and replies. You are right my friend it seems that first phone they launch is always not preferred and t model they put emphasis

    2. I don’t really see why this matter. This just means that whenever you’re interested in buying a new phone, there will always be a relatively new OP phone which is only good.

    3. +Dilmanpreet Singh how exactly is that a bad thing… If you are implying that apple releasing 3 phones at the same time IS a bad thing

  4. 0:44 Ash from c4etech lol ๐Ÿ˜‚
Edit: This comment got 12 likes๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Œ So yeah i also make tech videos check out my Best Android Apps Episode. ๐Ÿ˜…

    1. +Giridhar Ramachandran c4etech is another tech channel.

He was the one holding the op 6t. He had a colab with c4e before. So we could easily understand

  5. Loving your videos! You have always been a big motivation for me to record my own tech stuff. Thanks for being you and never stop uploading!

  6. Super insightful video here from 2 creators I enjoy watching ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

    1. +Iwobhor Gold Not exactly very terrible. Especially the Audio. Wasn’t clear and loud. Also Fisayo shouldn’t be over expecting much from affordable phones, comparing it to flagships always, and making it seem like it’s no use buying an affordable phone. I get you do use the great iPhones, Samsung, Huawei etc. But note that about 80% of your viewers would just need an average customer’s review, and would want to know how it run popular apps, real battery life, and some other basic stuffs.

    2. +Chidozie Ezeakunne it was more like paid advertising than a review, I bought the phone after watching the review and after using it for a few hours, there were a few I expected him to talk about that he didn’t.
I just felt Misled rather than educated after watching the review and buying the phone…
He should watch Linus’ review of the one plus 6T, he’s a smart guy, I’m sure he’d learn a few things…

    3. +Iwobhor Gold I hope he sees this though, and try to improve. I feel budget phones review should be more in-depth, as company always try to cut corners, and making an in-depth video, would make potential buyers know what they’d miss going the budget way and actually weigh their options. I give Fisayo kudos though, as Tech YouTube-ing in Nigeria is kinda in it’s early phase and for now, he’d have to be a little bias to the company’s side for him to be stable enough and keep receiving more sponsorship from companies, till he’s made a bigger name, and more self-sufficient. That’s the politics.

  7. So many good points. But in opinion, Oneplus gets away with it because of 2 things:
    1) Just like apple, they had built a solid fan base.
    2) They provide good software experience (just like apple)..

    1. +luke martinez actually, I was quite surprised when I got my 6T, the software is really good. I’ve used an iPhone for a while and I must say OnePlus have done a pretty good job. They probably don’t even match apple and definitely don’t beat it (I just have to give credit to apple, fanboyism aside). That being said, ironically, I wouldn’t but an iPhone because of the software. I love the fact that, on Android, you can make you’re home screen look like anything out there, the fact that you can change the accent colour (even by inputting the precise hex value, idk if that’s OP or native Android) and sooooo many more things.

    2. +CZDrMike If you begin to use Android and iOS everyday like I do, you would gradually discover that Android is ahead of the game in ease of use and friendliness in a whole host of areas. With Android becoming stable, fast and more easily updated, it would gradually become known to more and more people that iOS is not worth the compromises it forces on users.

    3. +Vipul Singh I can definitely agree with that, Android made such a huge leap forward in recent years. I switched from the HTC One M8s which run 6.0… I felt like a caveman after the first 10min spent with the 6T. Those little tweaks accumulated ๐Ÿ˜‚

    4. and they actually do come out with new features before others. Super fast charging (dash charging) and in screen fingerprint scanner. Not to mention the first 6gb ram phone and everytime with the best processor on the market for the cheapest price until Pocophone.

    5. all this talk about oneplus hiking their prices because xiaomi puts out the pocophone at a price where they don’t make a profit.

    1. +Chris Conway Right. We should rather support and protect tech titans like Apple and Samsung for them to keep on making millions and millions out of us. I’m so excited! LOL

    2. +yoututubus of course not! The crony captialism associated with those companies is appalling. I love to see true competition, and if China wants to be a first world country, they have to play by the rules. I hate the protectionism, and I love to see China doing so well. But the Chinese government is pure trash.

    3. +Chris Conway to some extent I agree with you, and I also disapprove of protectionism. It’d be great if everybody played by the rules but sadly it’s just not the case. We can complain countries like China want to protect their businesses and companies through the government policies, but on the other hand, the “rules” set by capitalism let companies like Apple monopolize the market and grow wild successfully blocking and crashing all minor competitors. Nobody seems to play by the rules, and at the end of the day we as consumers have to pay the price.

  8. They can have 70 strategies and still i wont buy another oneplus just because of missing headphone jack since i have pairs of expensive cans and cant play shooter games with audio lag of BT headphones.
    Nope, i dislike dongle idea.

    1. +Ergid battery works fine if you keep it between 30-90% charge(40-80 for better results) and doesn’t matter if u use it while charging. Check out seeker’s battery episodes. And in case i do wear out battery sooner because of my heavy usage, its 20USD inclusive of all for new battery. Its cheap :p

    2. +User422 the fact they are not listening to their customer base and that’s what they built on. Plus they aren’t the flagship killer anymore. I’d rather spend money on pocofone next time as its the best value for money and we keep phones in cases anyways, so the glass back isnt necessary.

    3. you dislike he dongle idea even though it will allow you to use your expensive cans just the same as if you had a headphone jack.

      talk about whining over nothing.

    1. i bought mine for Christmas. I moved from Pixel and i love this device except for that camera (which is not that bad).

  9. Nope. Had an LG G6….. nothing like my current 1+6T. Sure I miss the ultra wide but the BAD software, bad ram management and very poor battery life made me switch phones. It’s 500ยฃ ok, but it is also giving 128 gigs of storage. 750ยฃ for iPhoneXR you get only 64 bits of storage. GO FIGURE.

    1. +Live Hard or die easy that’s one of the things I was really impressed about when I got my 6t the colors look really nice.

    2. Live Hard or die easy your points are valid, but if the brands were reversed, youโ€™d pound the marginal advantages in our faces and say the lesser display is barely noticeable

    3. Live Hard or die easy also, there are blind tests that show that the iPhone XR screen is indistinguishable if not better looking that some better displays. Look up โ€œJohnathan Morrison iPhone XRโ€. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I hate the price and am disappointed theyโ€™d put such a low res display on a 2018 phone, but the color science does redeem it a bit

    4. +Marshall Branin that was against the pocophone, not the OnePlus 6t. The 6t’s screen is miles ahead of the xr.

    5. +Ivorocious But it isn’t even the best LCD screen, it’s only FHD, not 1440p. Plus, the processor is literally the same as in every other flagship phone. There’s little to no difference in terms of performance. Software is what really gives oneplus an edge over LG phones, but that might change if LG continues to go into the android one program.

  10. Main reason I get one plus other than the price is their software. Itโ€™s so clean compared to other phones in that price point. If I had a bigger budget to get a smartphone, I would instantly upgrade to a Pixel because stock Android is the best android and also it has the best camera

    1. You read my mind! I don’t know if makers are noting this, but software is turning to be the key part of buying a phone, all phones are almost the same in hardware specs, but not in the software experience.

    2. I would not get a pixel for security reasons. Google is become more and more intrusive with your data and stores all your data in their servers and sell them to the highest bidders. Every email you send through your Gmail is stored onto their servers, even if you delete them permanently, they’re still there. Google is actually a pretty evil company masking as good, they’re pretty much like Apple now. I don’t trust them one bit

  11. Onelplus devices are not flagship killers anymore . They are flagships . They r gonna touch the flagship price point also . But , the problem is there’s POCO ๐Ÿ‘ˆ SO they will lose budget consumers by a large margin ๐Ÿ‘ˆ The only thing they can trust to increase the pricing is the software ๐Ÿ‘ˆ That was not made intentionally . It came from CyanogenMod . Stock + add ons ๐Ÿ‘ˆ POCO is trying hard to compete with Oneplus . They have given stock like launcher , stock like nav bar etc . Over time , POCO will replace Oneplus as a Flagship Killer . Like the Pixel devices , the only thing good about them are cameras ๐Ÿ˜‚
