This base model of the K 30 pro does have last generation RAM and storage, whereas the more expensive version, starting from the 8 gigabyte version going upwards, have the latest versions of RAM and storage, but on a daily basis. It may not make much difference really to how you're using the phones read me said they included one of the world's biggest vapor chambers to keep heat away from the processor and increase performance, but it actually increased the most in heat in this test anyway, I then Decided to export a 5 minute long 1080p, video on kinney master in the phones exporting it actually into a 4k video, so the fans will have to do some work, taking the 1080p and upscaling it into a 4k resolution in this test. Anyway, the K 30 Pro came out on top followed closely by the s20 ultra and actually the me 10 Pro took a little while longer to upscale this 1080p video into a 4k resolution, video out of kinney master. I then wanted to perform the same test with a 4k video, so taking a 4k video, putting it through Kinney master and exporting it into another 4k video on all of the phones, and this time the results were different. The s20 ultra came out on top with the me 10 second and the K 30 pro only a few seconds slower. The s 20 ultra has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor as compared to the optical sensor on the K 30 Pro.
Apparently, if you just tap the ultrasonic sensor, it unlocks the phone quicker than just holding it so that's. What I did in this test and to me the difference in unlocking times, are literally irrelevant and won't make any difference on how you use the phone on a daily basis. Samsung do say that the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is more secure, though, and in a speed test. I do have to mention the 120 Hertz panel on the ultra, whereas the K 30 Pro is sticking with that 60 Hertz panel. You definitely notice the different side by side and of Cour was the meat empro having that 90 Hertz panel, which is right in the middle? I don't know this for sure, but Xiaomi could be using exactly the same fingerprint sensor in these two phones. There'D be no reason why they wouldn't the only difference being that on the meat n, the fingerprint sensor seems to be a bit lower on the screen and then on the K. 30 Pro it's a bit higher up. There definitely is a noticeable difference between 60 Hertz and 90 hurt when you use them side by side going in and out of screens and the animations and the loading animations just feel that tiny bit smoother on a 90 Hertz display, and you can see it when They'Re side by side like this, I was actually quite pleasantly surprised at how quick the face unlocking was than the K 30 Pro.
I expected it to be very slow and cumbersome, considering it's in a pop up camera, but actually the total time to unlocking is okay and actually not that far off the s20 ultras, which has the camera right there and ready to pop I'm just opening up the Same set of apps on all of the phones, I won't do an app opening test because it's just irrelevant the differences are so minuscule, but I just want to test the RAM of all of the phones. So we'll go back through all of those apps and see how many apps have been kept in memory or been shut down. You can see the MBA app has been kept in all of the phones, and then we go back through to another game again kept in memory on all of the phones and as we move to the next game, you can just see that the K 30 pro And this is pub G by the way has to be reloaded on the K 30 Pro so for some reason that wasn't kept in memory on that phone and moving to 1 0 me out, you can see that the K 30 Pro has to reload it again. So it did shut down those two games, however, moving on through all of the other apps, everything was kept in memory on all of the phones, except for those two games on the cave 30. Pro this base model has 6 gigabytes of RAM.
The meat M pro in this test has 8 gigabytes, and the s20 ultra has 12 gigabytes. This may not be an issue with not having enough RAM. It may be that the operating system on the K 30 Pro is just being a bit more aggressive with the way it handles closing apps. In the background, three photos taken on each of the separate phones and so we'll have different file sizes sent to a fourth phone via bluetooth, because the me temp pro takes 27 megapixel images as standard the files are massive and it took five minutes to transfer those Files, whereas on the s20 ultra, it only took fifty seconds. The file sizes are different, but it gives you an idea of how long it would take to do these sorts of things.
