    1. +TechTablets.com not sure I’m stuck between the 2 since I’ll be purchasing a new laptop and love the small form factor

    2. +TechTablets.com unless u can recommend a better laptop at the price since I usaully like to go with better specs.. Is there a better for the value laptop out there with comparable specs or better at a different size?? Im new to computers so I kinda lost and stumbled upon this one but i would like something that can be used without ever worrying about running out of memory or cores..

    3. +Sumo 210 This one performs well sure, but the noisy fan and the small keyboard etc etc. I’ve only reviewed and this GPD Win2. This one is much better, as for the best in this class I’m not really sure. It could be this one, it’s the most powerful I’ve found. There are not many around, it all depends on your needs. I wouldn’t recommend something this small for a full-time PC. 11.6″ or 12.5″ I feel is much better.

    4. +TechTablets.com great thats what i was thinking becuz i do like small for factors not so much as I cant go big. I just prefer smaller as its easier to hide away.. I also was looking at some of the chuwi laptop or equivalent is there one u prefer.. Sorry for all the questions. Just you r the only youtuber that has a wide experience with great prices and great prices in mind. As other go for bigger name brand pcs

    1. So do I, part of the reason I got this was to test the new Core M3. Hope to see it in new Teclast 2-in-1’s, A new Cube Thinker i35 and more tech this year but with faster RAM it does support.

    1. +jub8891 Besides Apple popularizing the styling you mention, consumers have been demanding a lot of minimalism sadly. While a an exterior with simple curves or angles (laptop or desktop) in black/silver can look sleek it has been done so much it’s boring now. Makes everything look like an appliance. The first iMac or iBook look tacky, but you have to admit there’s a certain inspiration and liveliness to their designs that is pretty much gone from the computer market now and it sucks.

    2. +protocetid i agree there was an inspiration and creativity to apples original designs, and i think many manufacturers also took this approach especially Sony. Jobs biography describes him as pretty much a Sony fanboy and was inspired to make the iPhone Apples walkman. You might disagree but I think apple has a big role in dictating what people think they want. This often upsets even the biggest apple fans but they will still buy it anyway. Other manufacturers think that by copying their look they will also be successful. But apples stranglehold is more psychological than physical i think.

    3. +jub8891 Apple does have a mystique for the non tech savvy, they put a lot of money into aspects that make really good first impressions. Worked on me when I knew less about computers (still an intermediate level user at best). Anyway another thing I was going to lament was how even VAIO is designing samey hardware currently, saw some of their past products and they had a more varied look in the past. Some of it bland, but some of it looking professional yet sporting striking colors.

    4. +protocetid There are interesting features in the new VAIOs including waterproof chassis, sim-less 4G – for Japanese users only I think. Their most expensive models are made from carbon fiber. Many of their models sre offered in at least 3 colors including pink. The last time apple dared to make a pink laptop was probably in the ibook days? I dont work for VAIO btw, NEC and panasonic have some.amazing laptops too. The panasonics which are still.manufactured in Kobe have amazing specs and are true business class laptops with all the available ports youd expect to find in enterprises. They dont force you to buy a thunderbolt or usb-c dongle.

    5. +jub8891 Wow didn’t know there were computers made of CF! You sure know a lot about laptops, I’m more of a gaming desktop type person. A handheld PC ala Win 2 with superior GPU and reliability is a dream of mine, it’s why I pop in places talking about pocketable computers.

    1. Never have the Core M3’s in my experience ever had good battery. Maybe if you sat it there idle it could do 8 hours or looping video on the lowest brightness setting. Sad really, I also wanted some really good battery life from this one and 4k60hz.

    2. +TechTablets.com intel’s foveros chips should help, it combines the atom cores and the core cores (mouthful!) to get the best of both words. But somehow intel will probably mess it up/have shortages.

    3. +Michael HTT I’m sure they will have shortages, but still looking forward to seeing much needed battery life improvement.

    4. +Michael HTT Nice idea. Like in ARM architecture. 2 cores standard m3 and 2 cores low power energy atom with ability to switching beetwen them like intel hd and nvidia graphics.

    1. +protocetid It’s identical in performance to the Win 2. At least for gaming. They have the same GPU, the HD 615, and the CPU is just slightly better than the Win 2, arfound 10% faster at most according to online benchmarks. Still won’t make any difference in gaming performance, since the HD 615 is what’s holding their gaming performance back.

The biggest problem with the Mix 2s compared to the Win 2 is that it thermal throttles while the Win 2 doesn’t. So if you’re gaming for more than a few minutes at a time, then the Mix 2s will slow down a bit, while the Win 2 will keep on working just as well as before because it has a better cooler that can handle the load.

If you want a portable PC for non gaming purposes the One Netbook Mix 2s or GPD Pocket 2 are perfect for that, but for gaming the Win 2 is better for the price. It also has a bigger 9800mah battery plus a built in controller.

  2. I wish .. Iwish really that xiaomi gonna adopt this cpu in the next tablet with windows 10 mi pad 5 with a faster ram…. the gpu is more powerfull than the u 8th gen or even the hq and H 8th gen integrated gpu making it a more playable machine than the surface pro 6 🤣😅

    1. Intel running on Android isn’t that good for compatibility. And the translation does have some overhead in performance.

    1. That’s are the ssd speed ? Never heard about embedded pci-e … sure it’s not ufs memory likes in high-hand smartphones ?

    2. Hi sir. I was looking for a tablet / portable PC that allows me to perform remote control easily (TeamViewer) as I may need to support on the go. Do you have any recommendations for me?

  4. nice review. 3.5 hours really is not too bad for what it is. perfect for quick document changes and email on the go, with a real integrated keyboard.

    1. +Felipe Vejarano depends how good you sre typing on a touchscreen. Im terrible and dont trust autocorrect enough (*´ω`*)

  5. I don’t mind that it has no webcam. Webcams creep me out because I’m often using my computer naked and I don’t want the Chinese government looking at my wang.

    1. Chinese agents ain’t like western porn. To everybody, only your own government cares what you’re doing, unless sort of high-tech geek you are. But YES I agree, webcams are creepy .

  6. FYI. You can press Fn + Esc to stop the fan. It is truly portable for me rather than carrying my heavy laptop around.
