Initial Android Smartwatch Setup Guide:

This is truly a rare find. Right now we are all super fortunate to have an American contact living in Shenzhen and looking to create the best ever Android smartwatch. Having owned the Thor 4 Dual and Thor 4 Pro, Jason decided he wanted a dual camera smartwatch with the larger 1.6 inch screen. So he ordered it! Directly from the main watch maker that feeds Zeblaze their watches! And they delivered!

Of course, he needed to do a quantity buy to make things happen, and now he has inventory of this exclusive smartwatch design. He's offering his inventory for sale globally through eBay. I bought mine through him, and the packaging was great, the delivery went smooth, and it had all the necessary paperwork to clear easily through customs. As you can see in this review, the Janus is one heck of a watch. I haven't taken it off my arm since it arrived.

Oh yea, something not on the video, I've put in a 4G LTE SIM and am getting full 4G. Data up/down is comparable to all the other 4G watches I have tried, so that's great news.

Guys, if you want this watch buy it now. Jason is already beginning work on a project to create another sensational watch from the blend of features and designs we have already seen, and some we haven't. He needs some working capital to make it happen, and that will come from the sales of the Janice smartwatch inventory. Money talks in China, and his is tied up in the first run of this amazing dual camera, 1.6 inch screen watch, so sales are needed for the next step.

For the record, I'm not getting any commission or anything for promoting Jason's watch, and I personally bought the one I have here (most of the time the vendors send them for review, as you know). The opportunity Jason has to directly influence the next generation of Android smartwatches is huge, so I want to help him out by exposing you to what he is doing and has accomplished so far. I sincerely hope he is successful.

So why the name Janus? Jason claims it's because of the two cameras on the watch and the Roman God with two faces:

From Wikipedia: In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus (/ˈdʒeɪnəs/; Latin: IANVS (Iānus), pronounced [ˈjaː.nus]) is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, *time*, duality, doorways, passages, and endings. … Janus presided over the beginning and ending of conflict, and hence war and peace. The Roman god Janus is unusual because he has two faces. This is because he was the god of doorways, gates and passages.

If you watch anything in this review (and I hope you watch it all) make sure you see the last 5 minutes or so for the "big reveal". It's a taste of some of the future potential awaiting us in the smartwatch world. Thanks for all your efforts, Jason!

  1. Both thor 4 dual and optimus pro have that “new” camera feature.
Also, can you ask that Jason guy to make it waterproof , without that ugly thing on the butom of the screen and without the side camera too?

  2. brown / tan band from the thor 4 pro . and the carbon fiber skin on the body like the amaz fit stratos 2

  3. Wou …interesting smartwatch!!! What about water resist properties? Mr. Ticks thanks to share … Greetings

  4. you spend your time advertising third-quality products. We must warn the customers. As you know it works only maximum six months. There are no IP68 and sweating kills them.

  5. will be good to see video quality compare when video file uploaded to pc or youtube.. and all this watches very heating and restarting at camera use for ~5mins at warm day and they don`t need 3GB ram, they don`t use so much this is just marketing.

  6. Nothing new. Flat tire, cheap plastic body, no gps tracking, no bluetooth calling, no water resistance, no removable bands, really whats the big deal it’s the same old same old. And still too expensive. Still bored with full android smart watches 🙂 Oh and front camera does not work with messenger. Overall fail 🙁

  7. Thanks for the video! Ahhhhhh is a lovely watch, but flat tires at this point in technology is no longer acceptable. These manufacturers need get past this more than half a decade old approach to diplay design.

I have a Lemfo LemX and I love it.. its one of a kind smartwatch and the king of large displays smartwatches (and also the last one I buy with a flat tire). Being an already one year old+ model and with a very large display, I could still understand and accept the flat tire design, but newer phones with smaller displays still stuck at this technological limitation, no deal.
