    1. Mid-year is crazy, too many new releases to cover. But I’ll be slowing down next month (I hope!)

    1. haha did you pay for expedited shipping again, your local post office must have a cabinet dedicated to you LOL.

hopefully you will be the first to post a proper first impression/quick review again.

    1. unfortunately we will probably never ever get good battery life for these ODM devices, to fit it into a particular profile the battery is the easiest and cheapest to cut down on.

    1. I really in the middle here, now I fixed the thermals and boost performance it’s so much faster. For the HDMI 2.0, speed and backlit keyboard this. But for the screen the F7. Wait for the 8GB models coming ?

  1. I’m so grateful for the Linux part of the reviews. But I’d like to know if you’d recommend this or the f7?

    1. NO, that was when gaming, but yes it’s bad. Turns out thermals aren’t good as the copper heatsink wasn’t seated well. I’ve fixed it and video coming soon of my little mod to improve thermals and boost gaming FPS up to 300%

  2. I’ve fixed the thermals, it was poorly seated the copper heatsink. Not enough pressure on it. I’ve done a repaste and also added a thermalpad on top. Thermals at the stock TDP are now 70 degrees max. With no power limits gaming = 86 degrees. But it gets hot. However the FPS gaming performance in titles like Project cars is up 200 to 300% Video soon!

    1. Hello. Very special Review. Congratulations. I am waiting for one X4. Can you tell us what kind of thermalpad did you use and what thickness? What kind of thermal paste is best for you?Best regards.

    2. please test some pubg mobile from tencent on it..freetoplay as well,we in the Asean region mostly played bluestacks game on this type of thin and light

    3. 2mm thick thermalpad on top of the copper heatsink fits well. And I used Noctua NT-H1 thermal compound. I’ll have a video up soon, just need to edit it after some urgent new tech arrivals.

    4. Bluestacks Android emulators. Okay will see, very overloaded but I do remember it ran a poor on the Apollo lake.

  3. Hey, love the videos! Could you maybe confirm if the 3L pro IPS screen is compatible with the x4? Thinking I might upgrade and reuse the TN panel for a project.
