The Mate 20 Pro uses an industry-leading flexible OLED screen featuring special design curved edges for an enhanced visual experience and holding comfort," the statement reads.
"This may lead to slight discolouration when viewed from different angles. In extremely dim lighting conditions, when the screen brightness is too low, or when using dark wallpapers, these differences can be exaggerated."
"If the colour cast affects your normal use, take your phone to an authorised Customer service Center for assistance."

  1. Good customer support. What happens when the signal gate and other stuff happened to Apple devices? “You’re holding it wrong.”

    1. +TechMagnet anyway I just hope the Huawei customer service can be as good in the UK as it is in Austria. We don’t have a service shop in the UK 😂😂 Edit: our unit of mate 20 pro is perfect, so lucky I don’t have to send it away for repair

  2. Mate 20 pro is unbelievably expensive for a Chinese phone… people will get note 9 instead and use it happily after

    1. the price of the phone does not depending where the phone is come from, if you always think the phones from china have to be cheaper then the others, let me tell you all the phones are from china!!

  3. Repair? For a factory defect? I think a brand new defectless device should be in order, or a money return policy .Not a darn repair.

    1. You are not greedy when you want a device that you paid for as new to work without needing a repair first.A repaired device is a refurbished device, a whole new different category of products.I can understand the point of not wanting the hassle to install everything again , but that should only exist as a consumer option to this problem. Not as a default.

    2. +bruce wayne but what’s the magical thing happening at the factory?? That makes is so much better than a screen replaced by a guy with the right tools at a service center. In this case one guy is a dutch? the one at the factory a Chinese (guessing that partof the assembly process is done by a human, but still don’t matter if it’s a robot) . But other than that? What’s better with the new device, i really don’t get peoples view on that

    3. In this particular case maybe the screen assembly was made by humans. Hence the glue defect. But thats not the point i am making.Companies should be held responsible at the highest regard when they sell products that are defective. The consumer should always have options on how they should be compensated. This is necessary in order for them to develop a sense of responsibility against the client. So we dont have exploding batteries, spyware in our operating systems and chipsets , catastrophic software updates or bright neon glue on the back of our screens.
I state again that i am not against the repair as an option , only though when it its not the only one.
Thats the magical thing that should be happening in the factory. Its called quality control.

    4. I agree mate , too my mind , once device has been dismantled and put back together again , it is no longer a new pristine device .
If they can not supply me with a device that works as it should and as you would expect from the factory ,
I would rather have a refund and take my business elsewhere .

    5. +Iceeeen things that have been dismantled and put back together often do not always go back together exactly the same as they came out of the factory.
Did you see the guy reparing re test the device to make sure it is still water resistant ?
The electrical connections for dismantling have now been on once at the factory , removed for repair and refitted a second time ,
some electrical connectors do not go on as tightly the second time .
You now essentially have a very expensive second hand phone whether you deem it “repaired” or not .
If you are happy to pay a thousand dollars for a device only to have it dismantled and rebuilt , that is indeed your prerogative .
I would not like it though .

  4. Could you updated later like 1or2weeks weather those green tint is completely gone? in my country Huawei will change the phone when customers have these issue, and there are a lot, that’s why i wait for huawei to solve these problem.

  5. I was waiting for this video. Thanks for this review.
Anyway, which panal they applied on it. Is it BOE or LG? and is it still water resistance or not.
    Wish you best 😊.

  6. This guy is fully sponsored by Hauwei so much so to a dedicated brand ambassador/advertiser level. Tons of Huawei videos in last 3 months.

  7. So you pay a premium price for a device that needs to be repaired after a few days from purchase? I believe a replacement is more appropriate.
