FAKE VS REAL Apple AirPods Pro – Buyers Beware! Real ANC, Perfect Clone!

These ones are the fake ones. Now i've done a similar video about five or six months ago and based on the comments under that video, i was able to help quite a few people spot the fake ones and that's great, because you definitely don't want to spend like 150 to 200 on a Pair of apple airpods pro and then later on, realize that you have the fake ones, so, hopefully, by the end of this video i'm gon na, show you enough information, so you can easily spot the fake ones when compared to the real ones. So why am i making a new video? Well, the fake ones are getting better and better every single day, for example, these ones have real noise cancelling they sound just as good as the original ones, so they are getting harder and harder to spot. But hopefully hopefully i will give you enough information, so you can spot them on when compared to the original ones, of course, and in my opinion, it's always best if you buy your apple airpods pro directly from apple or an authorized reseller all right. So why don't? We start by checking out the boxes all right. So when you look at the box, look at the plastic wrap on the box. If you notice on the original apple box, the plastic wrap looks almost perfect. There are no creases everywhere. There are no holes everywhere, but if you look at the box on the fake ones, the plastic wrap doesn't look good at all, so it doesn't look as professional, not to mention that the original box has a little pull out tab, something that we don't actually have On the fake box, so you have to look at the small details, so that will be your first hint right there.

Also, if you turn the box around you're, also going to notice that the back of the box is not how it's supposed to be on the fake ones, so the back is kind of upside down. Now, of course, that may only be the case for these particular ones, but always look for small details as for the serial number that shows up on the box there. Well, even if you check that on apple's website is going to show up as a real serial number because most likely they copied that from an original apple, um airpods pro product, so you can't really go by just checking the serial number inside the box. Everything looks pretty similar as well, so we have the same user manual even though the user manual is a bit different that may have to do the region where those um apple airpods pro are being sold. So the user manual is different depending on the region, but if you look close enough for that, user manual are gon na notice that the print quality of those pictures in the user manual are much better um on the original apple airpods pro than on the fake Ones, the fake ones don't have the same print quality. So once again you have to look for small details underneath the user manual you're going to find the charging case, and if you look at the charging case once again, look at the plastic wrap around it. The plastic wrap on the fake ones, doesn't look anywhere as good as the plastic wrap that you would find on the original ones, not to mention that the original ones actually have a little pull out.

Tab um for that, where the fake ones don't have that. So after you take the charging cases out of the box, you're gon na see these. So this is what you would find in the original box. This is what you would find in the fake box, so the one in the original box is actually made out of cardboard, so this is cardboard where the one found in the fake box is made out of plastic. So this is another hint that, if you're looking at the original ones or the fake ones, if you remove this you're gon na see the charging cable and the replacement ear cups. Now, in the original box, the cable actually sits there without moving in the fake box. The cable kind of moves around and the same goes for those replacement, ear cups, some the ones in the original box don't actually move where the ones in the fake box actually move around. So more things that you should look for when you're looking at the original ones or the fake ones, so you can spot the fake ones. Obviously, all right then we're moving on to our charging cases and just as a fun fact. The original apple airpods pro case with apple airpods, pro inside weights, 2 grams less than the fake one, but i know that not everyone will be able to weight their apple airpods pro all right. Looking at the cases themselves. Yes, they do look somewhat similar, but if you look close enough on the original one at that led in the center there, that led almost looks like whitish, where the led on the fake ones almost looks like black, so that's.

Definitely something to look on for turning the cases around. Once again, the hinge on the back there on the original ones looks a bit different than the one on the fake one, so the fake ones almost has like two colors for that hinge. So another thing that you should look for: i also want to mention that both the fake and the original ones support wireless charging, even though the charger that i actually have here at home, the original ones don't don't – want to charge them with that one. But yes, both cases do have um wireless charging all right. So when you open the cases – and you look at the top there, you're also gon na see the serial number now the serial number and the text there is a bit different on the fake ones compared to the original ones, but that serial number is the same. Serial number that you'd have on the box as well, so just look and see how that text is um written there so make sure that you're looking at something like that, whenever you're buying the apple airports pro that you're looking at all right. Looking at the airpods themselves, so i have to say that they do look pretty similar and they're kind of um difficult to spot, which ones are the fake ones and which ones are the original ones. Now, if you look at the text on them, you're gon na notice that the fake ones have a bit more text.

And if you look at that serial number on each airpod, you're gon na notice that the original ones have two different serial numbers. So the original ones have two different serial numbers where the fake ones have the exact same serial number on both airpods. So something to keep in mind now we are going to be able to spot the fakes compared to the original ones. Is the ear cup so that replacement ear cup well on the original one? Some you can easily remove that little ear cup, so you can actually change it. Those replacement, ear, cups that come in the box. Well on the fake one. You cannot do that, so it seems that it cannot be removed on the fake ones, so i tried pulling on it quite um quite hard and it doesn't want to come off. So that is another really good thing to check check for that ear cup and see if it's, removable and easily replaceable i've also noticed that when you first open the case so when you first take them out of the box and you open the case, the case Um on the original one, actually flashes white, so that little led flashes white, where the led on the fake ones flash is green. So this only happens the first time when you take this out of the box. So keep that in mind the original ones, flash white, the fake ones, flash green all right when you first connect them to your phone, so you have your iphone there.

You open the case. You'Re. Also gon na get a different message on the screen there. So, keep keep that in mind. Look for the original message, that's supposed to show up on your phone, so not the fake one! That shows up when you open the case when connected to your phone. You should also check the version so go to settings on your iphone general about and scroll the apple airpods program and open that. So the firmware version on the original ones is three something where the firmware version on the fake ones is one so keep that um. In mind, depending on the firmware version that you have on the original apple airpods, pro you're, also going to get a new feature called spatial audio, something that you don't actually get them with the fake ones. Now your phone has to be on ios 14 and the apple airpods pro have to be on the latest firmware version, so only the original ones will get the spatial audio, the fake ones aren't gon na get that so another thing that you should look for, as I mentioned in the beginning of the video. The fake ones also have real noise cancelling so the same noise, cancelling that we get on the original ones and back in the day, the fake ones didn't used to have noise cancelling well now they do and the noise cancelling is actually just as good as the Noise, cancelling that you get from the original ones, so you can't really tell the difference.

As for sound, i believe that these ones have a new chip inside, so they sound just as good as the original ones. So if you put them on you're, not gon na be able to tell the difference between the two. So keep that in mind, you have to look for all the other things that i showed you up until now, because the sound quality is kind of the same. The microphone quality is the same. The noise cancelling is the same. The transparency mode is the same so for that what the fake ones have gotten really really good. So hopefully, by now you have enough information, so you can easily spot the fake apple um airpods from just to give you an example. If you look on the facebook market, place 95 or 98 of the apple airpods pro sold there um by people are actually fake. I can tell they're fake just by looking at those um pictures and unfortunately those people sell them as um the original apple airpods pro. So you definitely don't want to spend, as i said, 150 200 on a pair of um fake apple airpods, pro alright guys.
