And should you actually pay a little bit more money to get a better phone, or is it just great to save your money and get those slightly cheaper phones let's, find out all the best phones for this year right now before we get into the 300 range. All of these phones, i'll put them in the description below amazon links. Go through to your country, region, find out the availability and the prices they'll all be there in the description for you. So at 300 i've picked a few phones, moto g power, poco x3 nfc redmi 9 pro and the samsung galaxy a51. The moto g power is super super popular in the states and it offers a really good package for the price. The a51 is also incredibly popular. All around which one would i choose out of these phones. Well i've gone for the poco x3 nfc as the standout phone of this bunch, at least on the spec sheet. All of these phones are fantastic and, depending on where you live, and how they're supported in your region, you might want to go for one or the other, but the poco x3 nfc on the spec sheet is quite incredible for this price. This is a classic xiaomi phone, xiaomi poco redmi same company. They offer amazing value in the budget and mid range segments. The x3 stands out for me because of the 120 hertz display it is an lcd display, but actually that's similar to others.
120 hertz is an incredible spec for this price. The redmi note 9 pro is also amazing and i've used that phone, but the 120 hertz display makes the poco stand out for me at this price point. It is actually more about specs, as you go up into those flagship phones. All the specs are great they're. All amazing phones, but down here, specs do matter for the price. If you're in the usa, the poco probably not available doesn't make sense, but the poco is available in the uk. You have really great fast charging on this. A really good spec for the screen cameras as well, high megapixels and overall, the value really can't, be argued with that. Poco does stand out from it moving into 400 territory, though things get way more difficult because at this level, you're starting to get phones that specialize in one area or another, maybe they have a slightly better chipset. Maybe they focus more on the cameras, so it's. Definitely more difficult, but just choose the one that you want to go for now. Obviously the pixel 4a that stands out for me, the iphone se 2020, the poco f2 pro now has been discounted to around this price. Then you have the offerings from oneplus the oneplus 7t, that is an old flagship phone or you could choose the oneplus nord, which is a newer, mid range phone. The mi, 10 lite also stands out or the me 10 tea light and then the moto edge.
So in q3, 2020, the second best selling phone in the world was the iphone se 2020. This phone is just not going to be suitable for a lot of people because of that old design, but obviously a lot of normal consumers who don't care about tech. Just like that phone it's, a cheap, iphone it's got a great camera and a great processor, and they can deal with the design because they really don't care about bezels. For me, as a tech reviewer, i can't choose that one out of them, though, so, which one do i go for if the camera is your main thing, then pixel or iphone for me, they give the best quality out of that main camera. All of the others, though, offer things that they don't like an ultra wide zoom or just generally more cameras, and even the nord has a dual camera at the front. For me personally, i don't really value that over just having a really great main image sensor, but of course everyone is different. I also think that your decision may actually be swayed by what you have now or the ecosystem that you're currently in. If you just want a cheap iphone, you might get the s e. If you've got pixel buds you're going to choose that one oneplus is releasing a watch, they also have the oneplus bullets, wireless oneplus buzz z, so they have an ecosystem coming up same with xiaomi. They have a ton of products, they have smartwatches and fitness bands that maybe sway you to go for a me, 10 or i mean note 10.
. I personally will always edge towards an older flagship phone as opposed to a newer, mid range or budget phone, because flagship phones have better build quality and they just have more premium materials all around because they were flagship at the time. So i'd personally go for the oneplus 7 or the 7t over the nord it's got a metal design which is slightly more premium overall it's older and it has an older flagship soc rather than a newer, mid range, soc, again, it's absolutely impossible to choose one. I could use all of these happily there's no perfect phone at this price, but certainly a lot of good options that are going to fit in with your lifestyle very easily moving up to 500, and i think actually, the decision becomes a little bit clearer. I'Ve got the iphone 11 on this list, the pixel 4a 5g version, the samsung galaxy a71, the samsung note 10, which i think is better than the a71 again. I always go for older flagships rather than newer, mid range phones and also the me 10t pro is on this list at around this price. What'S difficult here is that, because these are slightly older phones, prices do vary per region. As i said, i'll leave all the links below to see what the prices of these phones are in your country, but even on apple's website. The iphone 11 is around 500 bucks. I still think this phone is the great choice for most people.
If you're looking at an iphone, the 11 offers you better value than any of the 12s, because they're new and expensive, but the 11 has a big 6.1 inch screen dual cameras and at least five years of software updates. That really is amazing and offers you the same experience more or less as a new iphone 12.. The galaxy note 10 is available for around this price in some markets and i think a flagship phone like that is better than the a71, even though you might get the a71 a little bit cheaper. The pixel 4a 5g is a no brainer at this price point. You get the best mid range soc from snapdragon right now: there's 765g, it has 5g as well so you're covered for the next three years or so. The me 10t pro also offers a ton of value here again classic xiaomi, offering specs numbers on the spec sheet. That beat everyone else and a great price as well. The me 10 t pro does have an lcd display, but it has a 144hz display kind of even each other out. I think at this price point lcd is still okay to use. You can make the choice whether you want a low refresh rate oled or go with something like xiaomi with that high refresh rate ips lcd moving up to 600, and i think things become even clearer once more up at this price point. You'Ve got pretty much. Some of the best phones made in 2020.
The iphone 11 still makes this list around this price. I think it still competes with everything else. Yes, it is a year old, but the a12 chipset in there is super powerful. You get dual cameras, which are amazing. There is no night mode on the ultra wide in the iphone 11, though you do get that in the iphone 12, and you also do get that in most of the android flagships around this price. So something that may sway you what you don't get in the android flagships is those five or more years of software support, which is for me worth a few hundred bucks of anyone's money, but skipping over that iphone 11 we've got the oneplus 8t or the oneplus 8 pro, depending on where you live, you might be able to get it for around this price. Both of these phones, even though slightly different, are going to offer you what i would say as the same experience it's a one plus experience, so you get the 120 hertz displays. Oneplus 8t has a flat display the oneplus 8 pro slightly more premium with the design. You get a curved display as well, but maybe that's not important for you it's, not really that important to me anyway. Key specs, though, in those one plus phones, 120 hertz, best processors, fast charging wireless on the pro non wireless on the 8t, but you get 65 watt wired, which is super quick oneplus is achilles.
Heel is the cameras when it comes up against the iphone and the samsung. This is just my personal opinion, but i think a lot of reviewers share this. The cameras are good from the oneplus, but they just start to become really great from the other phones like the pixel 5, which is also on the list at this price range, the iphone and also the samsung galaxy s20 fe. The cameras are just super good on those phones and it becomes very hard for the oneplus to compete with them. Even though the cameras are good. Wow like the pixel 5, the quality is just so so good. The s20 fe amazing camera setup that's not to say that oneplus cameras are bad at all they're, very, very good, but the competition is pretty stiff up here. These four phones are incredible: the iphone 11, the oneplus 8t, the galaxy s20 fan edition, also the galaxy s20 plus again, i always go for those flagship phones if i can get them uh at a good price and then the pixel five. These are flagship phones, they're, going to be more fun than most people need great cameras, good screens, good processors.
