We are very, very close to the launch. Well, actually, not as close as we usually would be so possible. Launch dates for the iphone 12 also apple won. This is a new subscription service that will be will be coming from apple, which is going to bundle various other services together and give them at a cheaper price, which obviously would be a good thing. So, for example, they're going to put maybe apple news plus and apple arcade together and give them to you for cheaper, because yeah they've not really had the best of run outs, and i guess apple just want to try and repackage their services. There may also be a new fitness service and application from apple, maybe called apple fitness or apple fitness service, and this is going to be similar to peloton and peloton pretty popular. So when it comes to launch dates for the iphone well, it looks like september is going to be a breeze off, so absolutely nothing well. This comes from john prosser anyway, a couple of launch dates from him. So the first kind of weird thing is that maybe an apple watch and an apple ipad via a press release so not part of the iphone launch in week 37, so that's around the 7th of september so watch out for that one and the iphone 12 event. Possibly in week 42 of this year, so look for maybe about october, the 12th and onwards on that week, available for pre order on the same day, october 12th, shipping october 19th.
So about a week after the pre order and the pro models well they're going to be late, you can pre order them, apparently at the same time, but you'll have to wait till november to get those pro models. This is according to john prosser, who has actually been pretty spot on when it comes to the dates that apple sells products, various other leaks and rumors, not so accurate, but when it comes to actually sales dates, he's pretty spot on. Also, we have today's deals, sony tws headphones. These are really good. Actually, they are almost 30 off under 150 dollars. For these now, with tws noise, cancelling and alexa built in. You also have the anker wireless charger, which is almost 20 off that's 10 for a wireless charger, and maybe you want a renewed iphone 11 to get in now. That is now under 700 on amazon. The links to all of those will be in the description below. So we have this first league and from a fairly unverified leaker, but it looks pretty legitimate. This is twitter account insane dev. He showed off what it might look like. This is apparently the new 5.4 inch prototype screen and, as you can see, the face id components. The front facing camera all around about the same size, so no shrinking of the notch, even in that smaller new 5.4 inch design. We also have on leaks a very reliable leaker, consistently saying that the notch wasn't getting smaller so definitely waiting to see on that one.
But this is also reiterated by another twitter leaker. This time from twitter account mr white, who has shown yet another leaked possible prototype of the iphone 12, and he just says it outright same size. Face id. So no shrinking we're going to have the same face id components, the same camera on the front and the same size notch one positive here is that you can see here. The front facing speaker is in the same position and will be very high quality. Just like you get on the other iphone models for me personally, this is no big deal. I think iphones just have the notch. People have got used to it and don't really care, of course, we're seeing android phones taking it away completely and trying to be the first to have the underscreen camera. But this is a very iphone thing to do. They have the notch. They'Ve embraced the notch and yeah, probably it's gon na, be the same size also in apple news, though – and this is big news – epic games suing apple for essentially charging them too much money. Well, they think anyway, so fortnite tried to circumvent the play, store fees, which are about 30 percent using in app purchases giving discounts. This is against apple tnc's and so apple took them off the store. Fortnite also did this on the play store on the google side. Google also took them off fortnite, now, suing apple literally suing them instantly after apple took them off, which means that fortnight knew this was going to happen and readied the legal case before they even did anything.
We will see what happens with this, but apple have stuck to their guns. Anyone who violates the tnc's will be removed from the app store and they've done that with every company. So from apple's point of view, this is very normal, but i'd love to know your thoughts on that situation. Do you side with apple or fortnite, or do you think that 30 is just way too much or do you think hey? They built the businesses that enable these other businesses to make money, and so that's, just the fees that you got to pay i'd love to know your thoughts in the comments that's it for all of your iphone news.
