    1. Umidigi Hi, the cameras bokeh mode will be added before 16th July. The dual cameras are real, the algorithm for dual cameras also will be updated before 16th July. We will constantly update our camera performance, please stay tuned and don’t worry. yea 🙂

    2. diego mgv will they be fixing the odd black bar when playing games and watching video in landscape mode that Chris talks about at 19:20 in the video ?

  2. Thanks so much for making this video, you are doing excellent. Its like strike one, two, three and four. It’s been back to back unboxing and reviews for so many phone in the last few months. I really like your videos and the passion is evident. Thanks once again, hope you get a lot of likes for this vides. Forgot to add one thing, if you can compare it with ASZ5 and RN5PRO.

    1. More still to come! Vivo NEX, Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4 maybe next week. Oh and maybe tomorrow the Teclast M89 full review.

    2. TechTablets.com well the pro version of Z2 seems something, will look forward for its review in case you have planned it. It’s not on sale but should be launched in July itself. Considering its backed up by periodic updates it would be something.

    1. If it is a flagship yes. But eMMC 5.1 spec with the performance it offers is fine. So many other budget and midrange mobiles use eMMC 5.1 and it’s fine. But if it was a SD660 or 821, 845 I wouldn’t be happy. For example the Mi 8 SE, only eMMC 5.1 and that really needs UFS 2.1 with the SD710. But even then it didn’t bottleneck the SD710.

    2. TechTablets.com I agree , but flagships only, sd 660 and sd710 are in sub 400$ phones so emmc5.1 is fine. Anything over 400$ though should use UFS 2.1

    3. None with the same SoC no. But the SD710 wasn’t really held up by the eMMC. However, if it was sporting UFS It would be faster at loading apps and massive amounts of images in gallery faster etc.

  3. You little beauty 🙂 was just thinking about this phone and looking over the Internet for this. Good job Chris

  4. Cameras are a let down, as always with noname chinese brands. Sharpness is really poor.

And there is a possibility that the second camera may be another fake camera, like a Doogee phone you reviewed a few months ago.

It’s a shame that the phone is not as great as the quality of your reviews and videos in general 😐

    1. They advertised it with the dual cameras and it just to me seems as if they didn’t have it ready on launch. So very poor in that regard, I hope it’s not another dodgy Doogee!

    1. TechTablets.com That’s the main disappointment so far, especially since the notch hides so much standard information. Well it does seem to disappear in landscape mode.

  5. Great review Chris… Nice phone overall and those global bands especially band 4 makes it more appealing to people in the Américas. I see more and more brands are releasing Phones with global bands
    …great work Chris

  6. UMIDIDGI don’t get the job done this time on camera, UMI Z pro still their good budget phone I guess.

  7. I used to love Notch. I though it’s a smart move from Apple to optimise screen to body ratio although it wasn’t enough to swing me to use iPhone (I’m an android hard core fan). At first I’m so glad to see all android manufacture adopt this kind of design, however their biggest mistake is software optimisation. Most of the time, notch area turns to black bar and left ugly black bezel illusion. I don’t think I want to buy an android notch phone until they find a way to optimise the software like IOS did.

    1. WhyAreLess again it’s a joke it’s not supposed to be factually correct. If it sounds ignorant to you, then who cares lol I’m not gonna force you to change your mind

    2. WhyAreLess lol It is turning in to an internet argument lol and it’s with 2 random people on a comment that is unrelated to the argument

    1. TechTablets.com How you do it with a job and a young family I’ll never know 😁

Hat’s off to you though, I work nights so I find it difficult to get things done but on weekends I try and cram in as much as I can.

      Great work as always 👌

    2. Oh well, I’m up to 2-3am most nights editing videos or testing and reviewing tech. That’s how I’ll need a break soon before I drop!

    3. TechTablets.com Family too? Wow, nice man. I love how you put some science behind your reviews… (Light output from screens, using open cam modes etc.)

What is a Kiwi doing with a fam in Spain (I’m guessing from done sceanary)?

    4. Well I live here now, long story short moved over from the UK. So NZ, UK, Spain. Hope to head back to NZ soon.

  8. Chris you’re so hot but are getting enough sleep lately? Please take care. Will come and heal you in your wealthy Spanish villa as soon as you invite me there. Love you <3 <3 <3

  9. For the price I think we can all agree on that the Note 5 is a much better choice. Especially the camera(s)!

I mean overall its a ok phone mid-range phone, nothing spectacular.
